Pine Lodge Horse Riding Holidays on Exmoor is a BHS approved Horse Riding Establishment, based at Higher Chilcott Farm, near Dulverton in the
the Exmoor National Park, Somerset in the South West of England. We provide:-
- Escorted Exmoor Riding Holidays to suit all abilities with self catering cottage or B&B accommodation
- Escorted Day rides and rides by the hour for adults and children
- Self catering holiday cottages sleeping 2-8 people
The family of horses and ponies at Higher Chilcott Farm are a very relaxed and happy crowd. Most of Bobbie's
horses have had a less than ideal start to their lives. They are given sanctuary at Pine Lodge and time to forget their
ordeals before commencing their careers. The time spent in their care is reflected in their calm behavior and
attitude to work. Each has an individual character, and no matter what your ability, will provide you with a fun and
enjoyable experience riding on Exmoor, time after time.

Higher Chilcott Farm is the home of Bobbie and John Bullman, who have provided horse riding holidays on
Exmoor for many years. The farm is also a working hill sheep farm about
1,000 feet above sea level. Just 5 minutes drive west from the
town of Dulverton, the riding centre has a glorious south facing position with stunning views across rural Devon. Surrounded by soft green pastures and the
wilder heather and gorse heathland of Exmoor, the riding is superb and virtually road-free.
We have three self catering holiday cottages at Pine Lodge;
The Horses House and the Teddy House sleep 2/3 and 6 and are at the far end of the yard.
Middle Chilcott Cottage
sleeps 8 and is a larger
farmhouse holiday cottage a few yards down the lane, with its own gardens, yard, boxes and horse lorry garage! more

called George! There is
a herd of wild Exmoor ponies living in the steeplands that Higher Chilcott Farm surrounds, allowing you an up close
experience of these Native Ponies. |

try Clay Shooting, Walking, Bird Watching or Trout Fishing? We often hold big family BBQs in the garden and all our guests
are welcome to join in.
With its panoramic views, rainbow sunsets and amazing wildlife, Exmoor is a truly magical place.
We invite you to come and share it with us.
